Someone did when it came to me liking Five
a friend back when we was at school brought her Five album in to play in a music lesson and after listening I was hooked
however with another band Ilke Nickelback I remember hearing their song How You Remind me and liking them from there and that was in 2001.

Nah, found the majority of my favourite bands by myself. I guess it feels more personal that way.

Actually, yeah.
My current favorite band is blink-182 (famous songs include: Dammit, All the Small Things, I Miss You, Up All Night, and What's My Age Again?)
I was introduced to them last Autumn and then I found the side projects (+44, Box Car Racer, and Angels and Airwaves) and instantly fell in love with them, too! (Especially AVA!)
I know how to play a number of blink-182's songs on bass (including all of the songs I just mentioned), Mark Hoppus is one of my favorite bass players of all time (and that's saying something!).
