| I found something on the site that might help. If you are having trouble with games not saving scores, please check this FAQ entry before posting about it: http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/faq-mainmen...mes-save-scores If none of this helps you, please be sure to include what you tried from this entry in your forum post. Please be sure to also include the diagnostic information mentioned here: http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/faq-mainmen...tic-information I found his aim : PUarcade rick@pragmaticutopia.com is the webmaster e-mail address according to http://whois.domaintools.com/pragmaticutopia.com You can try making another account with a different e-mail. |
I've followed those guides and they didn't help much. but thanks for getting me his email. If I can get a topic made I am sure they can help me fix this whole thing.

alright good news, I think I got it all working now. some games I upload don't work but I think that is just the game not wanting to work on the PU arcade or something. Anyways expect this arcade ready to go in a day or two.
also does anyone know how to get folders that I made to store games to show up besides the default ones when looking for games to play? (newest games, popular games, all) but I want it to show (A letter games, B letter games, C letter games, ect)

I think you have make the folders in PU arcade control panel, and moved games to the folder in the panel. They should show up automatically on the front page of PU arcade. If you enable random games to show up on your PU Arcade.
I'm glad you got PU arcade sorted out.

here is a update,
Template has been put on,
Welcoming message is up,
got all the settings where they need to be,
Everything looks good,
All I need to do now is add some more arcade games. Also I am up for suggestions on any other games to add besides a arcade. So expect this to go live tomorrow.

Its so nice that everyone is pulling together helping out with the PUarcade issue
The new arcade looks fantastic. The current template you're using from Camp26 was the very first template I ever used on my site. Good taste DS.

Pretty much, this way the front page is updated with all the big news. |
I think it be a good idea, as well. Plus, it will be easy for members to learn what is new going on for GF and have them not click their mouse a lot to read every article on the News section for forum. They can just browse the blog.
I recommend http://wordpress.org/ blogging software. It is pretty simple to install like Joomla.
It is also simple to use, or GF can just make a wordpress account on http://wordpress.com/ and have a gf.wordpress.com account , but you are limited by the number of skins and plugins you can use, but it is a good way to learn how to use Wordpress before installing it.

No problem, If you need any more info about Wordpress, reply here or PM me. I made a few guides on wordpress on my Wordpress http://johnsonyip.com/wordpress/category/word-press/ . There are tutorials for how to install and update wordpress, adding plugins, skins, and SQL commands for the WP database. (pretty much, everything an average users need to know to use Wordpress)
